Alex Karev
Dr. Alex Karev is a former wrestler at the University of Iowa, and studied medicine on a wrestling scholarship. Alex became a wrestler because his father, a musician and drug addict, used to beat his mother. Alex beat his father after the man hit his mother. The father ended up in the hospital and he left Alex and his mother after his release.
